INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The N 44 helmet is equipped with removable chin guard. It can be used with different
configurations (thanks to the accessories supplied in the box) as described at the
end of the paragraph. Using the helmet in its full configuration (chin guard attached
and visor closed) obviously guarantees the best protection when compared to the
other configurations.

VISOR
(If this accessory/spare part is purchased separately: this component is available
in two different sizes according to shell size (SMALL or LARGE). Please ask your
Nolan dealer to assist you in selecting the right size.
1. VISOR DISASSEMBLY
1.1 Open the visor completely (Fig. 1).
1.2 Push the release lever of the mechanism completely upwards (Fig. 2) and, at the same
time, pull the visor away from the helmet (Fig. 3).
1.3 Release the release lever which should return downwards.
1.4 Follow the same steps on the other side of the helmet.
2. VISOR ASSEMBLY
2.1 Place the visor on the side mechanism centring the side air intake of the visor on the
mechanism itself (Fig. 4).
2.2 Push the release lever of the mechanism completely upwards and, at the same time,
push the visor against the mechanism (Fig. 5).
2.3 Release the release lever which should return downwards and make sure that the
visor remains attached to the mechanism.
2.4 Follow the same steps on the other side of the helmet.
2.5 Close the visor completely.
WARNING!!!
- Make sure that the mechanisms are working properly. Open and close the visor
making sure that the mechanisms hold it in the different positions. If necessary,
repeat the above-mentioned steps.
- Do not use the helmet if the visor has not been assembled properly.
- Do not remove the side mechanisms from the shell.
- Should any of the side mechanisms be malfunctioning or damaged, please refer
to a Nolan authorized dealer.

VISOR ACCESSORIES
The visor comes complete with a number of assembled accessories which can be
temporarily removed to facilitate routine cleaning and maintenance operations.
1. VISOR ACCESSORY REMOVAL
1.1 Remove the visor from the helmet by following the specific instructions contained
in this manual.
1.2 Unfasten the left-hand side cover from the visor by pushing out from the inside the
