Installing IP71

Note
If you are upgrading an existing IP71 (v1.0 or v1.1) to v2.0, the old LAN
and WAN IP addresses are retained.
1.
Enter the IP address of the device in the following ‘quad’ format.
https://192.168.1.1
Note that you should enter https instead of http .
2. Once your IP71 is connected to your computer and to your network, enter
the IP address and press Enter. A pop-up security alert screen appears:
The security certificate was issued by a company you have
not chosen to trust. View the certificate to determine
whether you want to trust the certifying authority.
The security certificate is valid.
The name on the security certificate does not match the
name of the site.
3.
Click Yes, to access the IP71 GUI.
Click View Certificate to check certificate details.
You can generate your own certificate. See
Generating Security
Certificates .
4. Enter the default Username and Password.
Logging Off
To log out of IP71,
On the IP71 GUI, click Log Out.
