Nokia A032 Advanced User Guide
Setting up the bridges
Each Nokia A032 must be individually
programmed to identify its bridge partners. You
can only do this using the serial port or Telnet
interface:
1
Power up a Nokia A032 and log into the
serial port or Telnet interface program (see
Accessing the command line manager (CLM)
2
Enter the information for all the A032’s
bridge partners using the
bridge
command, which has the format:
bridge add MAC Name
where
MAC
is the MAC address of a bridge
partner and
Name
is a name for that
partner, of up to 16 characters, which you
can choose.
3
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for all the other access
points.
4
Restart all the A032s.
Once all the Nokia A032s are operating they
will automatically learn where the various
network-attached computers reside and bridge
data to the correct location.
