Configuring for wireless bridge/repeater
operation
Before you can use Nokia access points as
bridges, you need to configure them manually
to:
•
tell them specifically which other access
points are available as bridge partners
•
ensure that no loops are created.
Step-by -step procedure
Gathering the information
Before you connect and configure your
network, make sure you have all the necessary
information to hand:

Draw a topology map, showing all the
Nokia A032s you plan to include in the
bridge/repeater function.

On the map show the bridge partner
relationships and make sure that there are
no loops.
In the example below, involving four access
points, A and D act as wireless bridges. B
acts as a wireless bridge and repeater,
having a local LAN attached. C acts only as
a repeater:
