Display module
RM-779 uses a 3.5’’ AM LCD type nHD Maddox display with 16 million colors. The display module supports the
display format of 640 rows x 360 columns . The dimension of the display module is 43.2 mm x 76.8 mm x 1.8
mm. The module interfaces to the phone via FPC with a 24 pins board-to-board connector.
The primary display is controlled by BCM2763C over DSI interface. The DSI Interface is used for data transfer
and control. Other display signals, RESET and TE, are interfaced to BCM2763C.
Camera (Capone)
This phone has a 5 Mpix resolution main camera. No flash or secondary camera.
The camera is a 5 Megapixel EDOF (Enhanced Depth of Field) camera module. The module size is 6.5 mm x
6.5 mm x 4.6 mm and it fits into the 12-pin camera socket on the phone. The camera module is SMIA profile
2 compliant and is configured by the BCM2763C using I2C control bus. Image data is transferred to the
BCM2763C for furher processing over CSI-2 (PRI_CAM_CSI).
