Context

Checks the ASIC FW and download patch integrity (I2C connection quality).

Steps

1. Place the phone in the flash adapter or connect a data cable to the phone.
2. Start

Phoenix

service software.

3. Select the

Bus Method

(FBUS or USB) and

Port

from the

Connections

box.

4. Choose File

→

Scan Product.

5. Choose Testing

→

GPS Control.

6. Select the ME Test tab.
7. Under Tests, check ROM checksum and SW upload checksum.

Note:

These tests can also be run separately by selecting just one of the two tests.

8. Click Start test.

Results

The result of the tests is shown in the

Results

window.
