3.1.20. Configuration - Stack
Configure the stack.
Stacking State
Shows whether stacking is currently enabled or disabled.
Stacking Enabled
If the stack consists of one active switch or stacking is disabled, it is possible to configure
whether stacking must be enabled. When changing this setting, the switch must be rebooted
before this takes effect.
Delete
Deletes this switch from the stack configuration.
Stack Member
The MAC address of the switch.
Switch ID
The Switch ID (1-16) assigned to a switch. For more information, see description of Switch
IDs.
Master Capable
Indicates whether a switch is capable of being master. An unmanaged switch, for example,
will not be Master Capable.
Master Priority
The priority that the switch has in the master election process.
The smaller the priority, the more likely the switch will become master during the master
election process.
Stack Ports
The pair of ports used to connect to other switches in the stack. If stacking is currently
enabled, the switch must be rebooted before the new stack ports take effect.
Switch Status
This indicates if the switch is currently present in the stack and if configuration changes
requiring a reboot have been made.
