6. OPERATION AND USE
6.1. Call from a telephone to the telephone interface
After a call to the telephone interface, you can perform the following functions using the keypad:

6.2. Call from an external unit to a telephone
In order to initiate a speech connection with the external unit, you must either pick up the receiver or you must pick up the receiver and also press key

If you do not press key 9 to interrupt the connection, a busy signal will be heard at the external unit for the remainder of the conversation time.

7. TROUBLESHOOTING
Errors are
visually and acoustically
displayed:
• After a call to the telephone interface, you will hear an error tone three times (at the telephone) after which the connection is interrupted.
• The red status LED on the telephone interface keeps flashing or remains illuminated (see table below). The visual error message on the
telephone interface remains active until the error is remedied.
