4.2. Programming mode
Important:
To change the settings of the different functions, the telephone interface must
always first be in programming mode
(Fig. 4).
Activating and closing programming mode
Step

Result
1.
Use a telephone to call the number (analogue internal line) to which
the telephone interface is connected (e.g., 81).
Use a telephone that can generate DTMF tones.
The interface reacts to the call after a number of ring tones. You
can program this number yourself (see below in this section).
You hear one high tone and one low tone consecutively
(confirmation tone).
2.
Enter the key combination:
# XXXX
where:
- XXXX = pin code
The telephone interface is in programming mode.
3.
Change the setting(s).
4.
Press #.
You are no longer in programming mode.
Programming mode closes automatically if no action is taken for approximately
15 seconds.
Upon delivery, the
pin code
is set to 0000.

3.
Exit the programming mode.
In addition to this, you can also
secure the dialling on the telephone interface using a pin code
. In that case, you also secure the functions
described in section 6.1. (such as opening a door, switching a light ...).
If you have activated this extra security, you will hear a long, steady signal after dialling. During the sounding of this signal, you must enter the pin
code. The pin code for dialling is the same one that is used to activate the programming mode.
Upon delivery, this extra security feature is not activated; in other words, you do not need to enter a pin code when dialling (0).
