5. MOUNTING AND CONNECTION OF DOME CAMERA
5.1. Requirements regarding the location of the installation
• Harmful ambient conditions might reduce the lifespan or cause malfunctions.
• Do not mount the camera in locations subject to rain. Water droplets on the camera could be detrimental to the image quality.
Do not mount and use the camera on locations:
• which are very dusty or dirty,
• with a lot of water or oil vapour (e.g. in a kitchen),
• with direct sunlight,
• with an unsuitable ambient temperature (see technical data),
• with powerful sources of radiation (e.g. X-radiation, radio transmitter or magnetic fields),
• with corrosive gases or salt water.
5.2. Flush-mounting position
Do not mount the camera with the dome pointing vertically upwards, but in a position with the dome point downwards or slightly sideways (see image 1).
Wrong! Correct:

ATTENTION!
Do not mount the camera when it is humid (rain, mist of high humidity). If humid air or raindrops are stuck under dome, they can
create condensation within the closed camera and steam the inside of the dome.
