8. Troubleshooting

In case of failure, follow the table below.

Stop the engine when troubleshooting.
*  If the engine starts during troubleshooting, hands or fingers could be severed by the 

moving parts or fan.

The blower does 

not start

Fuel runs out or fails.

Refuel or replace the fuel by reference to the 

split engine manual.

Fuel filter is clogged.

Clean the fuel filter by reference to the split  

engine manual.

Mis-operation for start-up

Start the blower by reference to the split engine 

manual.

Start/stop switch is off.

Turn on the start/stop switch to start.

Ignition plug is faulty.

Replace the ignition plug by reference to the split 

engine manual.

Carburetor is faulty.

Contact the sales agency.

Output is not 

enough.

Throttle cable adjustment is 

faulty

Adjust the throttle cable by reference to the split 

engine manual.

Air cleaner is clogged.

Clean the air cleaner by reference to the split 

engine manual.

Carbon has accumulated in the 

muffler.

Clean the muffler by reference to the split engine 

manual.

Vibration is too 

large.

Poor balance of attachment

Contact the sales agency.

Mis-installation of attachment

Check the installed status.

Looseness of connection of at-

Shaft tube is bent.

Exhaust sound is
