1.2.8 Precautions for Fuel
Store the gasoline/oil/grease in a place out of reach of children.
Also, put them in a container so that the gasoline/oil/grease are not spilled and make
them distinguished to understand contents.
* When drinking them by mistake, the person could feel physically sick.
When handling the fuel, follow the instructions below.
(a) Use approved containers.
(b) Do not smoke near the fuel.
(c) Do not use fire near the fuel.
(d) Open the fuel cap slowly.
(e) Do not refuel until the engine cools down.
(f) Do not refuel during operation.

(h) Tighten the fuel cap completely after refueling.

* Because the fuel is highly combustible, if mis-handled, there is a risk of fire.
Before refueling, touch the ground or the metal embedded in the ground to
eliminate static electricity.
* If you are charged with static electricity, it could cause fire due to static electricity spark.
Refer to the split engine manual for fuel to be used.
* If the kind of fuel or oil or the mixture ratio is not appropriate, the engine could be dam-
aged.
Do not discard gasoline, oil, or grease into the river, the sea, or the ground.
* Otherwise, it could pollute the environment.
