4.3 Precautions for Operation
When operating the blower, observe the following as well as “1.2 General Precautions”.
●
If you feel tired during operation, be sure to take a break. If you continue operating without taking
a break, the blower could be out of control. Or if you are aggravated by strenuous work, consult a
physician (doctor) before operating the blower.
●
Keep at least 15 meters away from the other persons when operating.
●
Hold the blower securely while operating.
●
Hold the rear handle with your right hand, and front handle with your left hand. (This also applies to
left-handers.)
●
When you hit the blower against stumps or walls, stop the engine, and make sure that the blower does
not have problems such as cracks.
Also, check it for abnormal vibration or noise after starting the engine.
If there is a problem, consult the service agency.
●
The blower is not insulated against electric shock.
Have a person qualified for electric work remove wires and cables which can be removed.
If there are still wires or cables not removable, do not operate the blower.
●
Take extreme care when operating on a slippery place or slope. Also watch out for rough ground,
stumps, roots, ditches or holes which could cause you to trip or stumble. Do not use when it is raining.
●
If you found any problem such as abnormal noise and decrease in the air volume during the operation,
stop the operation immediately, and check if there is any foreign object such as broken piece of the fan.
●
Use a harness so that the blower can be held at the position not to get tired easily.
●
To prevent fire disaster, do not use the blower in a place where there are organic sediments or
excessive lubricants.
