This function tests the ground fault monitoring function of the Control Module to
ensure proper operation. When the ground fault test is turned
on
, the Control Module
applies an ac current to the ground fault transformer and checks the measured ground
fault currents. If the Control Module does not see the test current for a heater, the GF
Test Alarm is activated and a
GF CT
message is added to the system status mes-
sages. This is a latching alarm. When the cause of the alarm has been corrected,
locate the alarm message in the Status Menu and press [RESET]. If there is no problem
detected, no alarm message is displayed.
