Touch Plate Height
The Touch Plate application enables you to zero the R2L bit mounted in the router to the table
surface using the touchplate accessory.
You should ensure that the Bit Diameter in the Setup Operations menu is entered correctly for
the bit currently mounted in the router prior to running the Touch Plate application.
After selecting the Touch Plate application, press the ‘Press to Run’ button.

This is the application that will set the R2L to zero. Move any fence away from the router bit. .
Ensure that the touch plate is plugged in (jack is on the external connections panel at the back
of the Ready2Rout or Interface). Place the touch plate against the table surface and attach the
magnet on the side of the bit or collet.
