4.7.2.2 The Parameters of the Satellite Interface
The displayed parameters and their descriptions are shown in the table below.

General
Configured
Beam ID
Identifier of the beam in which the terminal currently operates.
Beam ID
Identifier of the beam whose parameters are displayed in the GUI.
Satellite Properties
Polarization
Skew
Skew angle in degrees applied by the satellite operator. Check with your
satellite operator to know this value.
Value is a positive or negative integer with dotted decimal notation.
Orbital Position
Orbital position of the satellite in degrees and East/West selection.
Satellite Latitude
Variance
Only applicable in case of automatic pointing.
Value which is typically used for inclined orbit satellites. Check with your
satellite operator to know this value.
Max Skew
The maximum skew angle.
Check with your satellite operator to know this value.
TX Polarization
Reflects the polarization of the received carrier.
Possible values are:

Horizontal

Vertical
•
Circular Left
•
Circular Right
