Chapter 3 RS-232 Interface
Introduction
If the scanner is connected to the RS-232 port of a Host, you need to scan the following barcode to
enable serial communication. To ensure smooth communication and accuracy of data, you need to set
communication parameters (including baud rate, parity check, data bit and stop bit) to match the host
device.

RS-232 Parameters
When the scanner is connected to the Host via serial port, it is necessary to maintain consistency in
communication parameters configuration on both devices to ensure smooth communication between
them. The default settings are 9600bps, no parity check, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, and no flow control.
