5.1 Security attention
5.1.1 POS using security attention
Please always pay attention to maintenance, try to locate the POS into the clean place.
● Avoid Put the POS into the wet environment.
● Avoid put the POS into the gelid/ scorcher environment.
● Avoid make the POS closed to the combustion source or lighting cigarette.
● Avoid the break or throw the POS.
● Without a permit or the circumstances, not in the vicinity of the use of medical equipment
● Because the Hertzian waves of wireless module will influence some kind of instrument. In a
number of specific occasions, please do not use wireless modules function, such as plane, gas
station.
● Avoid installation or use during the thunder and lightning, or they were in danger of electric
shock lightning.
● Prohibited in any potentially explosive gases to use the POS
● Only can use the accessories design for NEWLAND product.
● Do not try to disassemble the product.
● To allow only authorized of Newland company’s staff for maintenance
5.1.2 Power
The AC plug can only be connected to the mains as described for the product. Please properly
locate the power adapter and mains cable. Do not stack objects on the power adapter or mains
cable. To avoid electric shock, disconnect the power before cleaning. Do you use AC plug in
outdoor or moist environment. Use original Power Supply Only. If the plug does not fit with
the mains jack, please contact Newland Service Team for replacing or ask an electrician to
install a suitable mains jack.
