Due to the differences in keyboard layouts, some characters contained in barcode data may be unavailable on the selected
keyboard. As a result, the scanner fails to transmit the unknown characters.
Scan the appropriate barcode below to enable or disable the emission of beep when an unknown character is detected.

Supposing French keyboard (Country Code: 7) is selected and barcode data
”AÐF” is being dealted with,
the keyboard will
fail to locate the “Д (0xD0) character and the scanner will ignore the character and
continue to process the next one.
Do Not Beep on Unknown Character
: The scanner does not beep and the Host receives
“AF”.
Beep on Unknown Character:
The scanner beeps and
the Host still receives “AF”.
If
Emulate ALT+Keypad ON
is selected,
Beep on Unknown Character
does not function.
