The rear PTO lever, 1, and mid PTO lever, 2, are
located on the left-hand control pod.
Both the rear PTO and mid PTO must be
disengaged to start the tractor engine.
The clutch pedal must be fully depressed to engage
or disengage either PTO. Move the lever forward to
engage the PTO, or rearward to disengage.
Most PTO equipment is designed to
operate efficiently at 540 RPM
tachometer has a mark which indicates the correct
engine RPM for 540 PTO operation. Operating
equipment faster than this decreases efficiency, and
Mid PTO is optional equipment on gear
The PTO shield, 1, and cap, 2, are standard
Use the PTO shield with both mounted and pull-type
equipment. The shield rotates upward, allowing for
easy implement attachment to the PTO stub shaft.
