H.S.T. RANGE LEVER
The range selector lever, 1, is located on the
left-hand control pod. It has two speed ranges and
one neutral position.
NOTE: The range selector lever must be in the
neutral position to activate the safety start system
and allow the engine to start.
To select the desired operating range, the H.S.T.
pedal must be in the neutral position and the clutch
pedal depressed.
IMPORTANT: Never attempt to engage or disen-
gage the range lever when the tractor is in motion.

H.S.T. SPEED CONTROL
The H.S.T. speed control rocker switch, 1, is located
on the right-hand side of the console. It is used to
maintain a constant forward or reverse speed.
When the desired travel speed is reached, depress
the top half of the speed control switch. A green light
will illuminate inside the switch indicating the speed
control is engaged. To disengage the speed control,
depress the bottom half of the switch or depress the
brake pedal. The green light will extinguish,
indicating the speed control is off.
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury and maintain optimum
control of the tractor, do not use the speed
control at high speeds or when roading the
tractor.

CLUTCH PEDAL (All Models)
The foot operated clutch pedal, 1, is located on the
left-hand foot platform. The pedal controls operation
of a single-stage clutch.
When the clutch pedal is depressed, the tractor stops
moving and the PTO shaft stops rotating. Depress
the pedal fully when changing gear ratios and when
engaging or disengaging front-wheel drive or the rear
PTO or mid PTO.
When starting the tractor, always depress the clutch
pedal to ensure a safe start-up. The clutch pedal
must be fully depressed to disengage the neutral lock
on the gearshift to allow a range gear change.
