Manual Backups
The Desktop Mirror application allows you to manually back up new folders or modify existing
folders.
To perform manual backups
1.
Select the folder(s) you want to backup.
You can select multiple folders by holding the
Ctrl
key while clicking folders.
2.
There are two ways to manually backup your folders.
a.
Choose an option from the
Tools
menu
•
Select
Tools > Synchronize Selected Items.
This option allows you to select only the folders you want to backup.
•
Select
Tools > Synchronize All Items.
This options backs up all new and modified folders listed.
b.
Alternately, you can click the
Synchronize
icon on the right side of the interface
This option allows you to select all folders to back up.
Folders that have been successfully backed up will display a purple check mark by
the folder, and will show “Backup complete” on the status bar.
