2.6 Testing External Transvenous Pacers (AV) 

 

       The EXPMT 2000 will test both atrial and ventricular transvenous 
pacemakers.  Before performing any tests connect the pacemaker to be 
tested to either the ATR (Atrial) or VENT (Ventricular) A-V INPUT  
connectors on the top of the instrument. 

    

 

A.  Move the Pacer Input Selector switch to the A.V. INPUT position. 
B.  Turn the EXPMT 2000 on. 
C.  Select the pacer type by pressing the Atrial ‘F1’ key or the 

Ventricular ‘F2’ key. 

D.  Perform the measurements in section 2.6.1.
