3. Connect your phone(s) to the
Phone 1
jack
(and
Phone 2
jack if you are using two
phones).
4.
Optional
: To set up the ability to place calls
using your regular telephone line (PSTN) in
case of power outages or if your broadband
service provider is down, connect an analog
phone line (via an RJ-11 cable) to the
Line
jack in the back panel of the device. For more
information on placing and receiving regular
(PSTN) calls on the 2-Port Gateway, see
Section 5,
Placing and Receiving Calls
.
5. Connect the
AC Adapter
cord to the back of
the 2-Port Gateway and plug in the power
cord.
Your cable connections should now
resemble the diagram on page 9.
6. Reboot your PC after all the cables have
been installed in order to obtain an IP
address from the 2-Port Gateway.
7. Once your PC has rebooted, you should be
able to connect to the 2-Port Gateway’s
Web Management Tool by entering the
following address into your PC’s Web
browser:
http://192.168.100.1
Note:
Do not be concerned if you do
not have Internet connectivity at this
point. This issue will most likely be
resolved once you configure the 2-
Port Gateway based on your
broadband WAN setup.
