USING ATTACHMENTS

CHOPPING BLADE:

The chopping blade is the most versatile of all the attachments. Use for cake and pastry

making, chopping meat, vegetables, nuts,  dips, pureeing soups and to also make crumbs

from biscuits and bread.
The length of the processing time will determine the texture achieved. For coarser textures

use the pulse control for short periods.

Hints:

•  Cut food such as meat, bread, vegetables into cubes approximately 3/4” (2 cm).

•  Before processing, foods should be broken into pieces and added down the feed tube

while the machine is running.

•  Take care not to over-process, foods are chopped quickly at any speed.

REVERSIBLE SLICING/SHREDDING DISC:

Use the slicing side for cheese, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, cucumber and onions. Use the

shredding side for cheese, carrots, potatoes and foods of similar texture. Use to cut potatoes

for julienne style fries; mix ingredients for salads, garnishes, casseroles and stir fries.

WARNINGS: Never remove the lid until the cutting disc has completely stopped. Handle the

cutting discs with care - they are extremely sharp

.

To use the cutting discs:

1.  Fit the drive shaft and bowl onto the base unit.

2.  Holding by the center grip, place the disc onto the drive shaft with the desired cutting

side facing up.

3.  Fit the lid onto bowl and turn to lock.

4.  Choose which size feed tube you want to use and put the food into the desired feed

tube. The pushrod contains a smaller feed tube for processing individual items or thin

ingredients. To use the small feed tube - first put the large pushrod inside the feed tube.

To use the large feed tube - use both pushrods together.

5.  Select desired speed and push down evenly with the pushrod-

NEVER PUT YOUR

FINGERS IN THE FEED CHUTE.

CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Remove plug from electrical outlet before putting on or taking off any parts and the

control knob is set to “0”.

dry thoroughly.

CAUTION - HANDLE BLADE AND DISC CAREFULLY AS THEY ARE SHARP!

3.  Clean base with a soft, wet cloth and mild cleaning solution. Wipe dry with soft cloth

before reusing or storing.

OTHER LIQUID

.

4.  Ensure the locking mechanisms on the cover and the base are free of food particles.

5.  Never use aggressive cleansers or metal scouring pads to clean components.

6.  Some foods may discolor the plastic. This is normal and will not affect your food nor the

plastic. Rub with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil to remove the discoloration.
