4 Plug into mains

4.1 Machine (with capsule
holder inserted) is not working -
no function
YES - a) Check if magnets of
capsule holder are in place. YES - Go to point b)
NO - Replace capsule holder
YES - b) Check if power cord is
functional YES - Go to point c)
NO - Replace it
YES - c) Check if all electrical
connectors are connected
YES - Go to point d)
NO - Connect them
YES - d) Check if thermoblock’s
thermofuses (133°C) are defective
YES - Replace power cord and
PCB assembly. If necessary
replace also the thermoblock
. If plastic ribs
under thermoblock are melted
then replace bottom assembly
NO - Go to point e)
YES - e) Check if power button is
functional
YES - Go to point f)
NO - Check if PCB support and
side bowl are assembled
correctly. Replace PCB
assembly or side bowl if
necessary
YES - f) Check if indicator (LED) is
defective
YES - Replace PCB assembly
NO - Go to point g)
YES - g) Check if reed contact is
functional
YES - Go to point h)
NO - Replace the extraction
head
YES - h) Check if pump is working
at position

YES - Go to point i)
NO - Go to point j)
YES - i) Check if pump is working at
position

(hot)
YES - Go to point 4.3
NO - Replace the extraction
head (valve switch or reed
contact might be broken)
. If still not working,
replace also PCB assembly

YES - j) Check if pump's thermal
cut off fuse (98°C) is defective
YES - Replace pump
NO - Replace pump
or assembly PCB
or extraction head

YES - a) Check if NTC temperature
sensor is functional
NO - Replace NTC tempera-
ture sensor
