the spine against punctures during an impact against a rock or rigid objects inside
the bag.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The NEO-Koroyd 2.3 and PROPACK protections are made to absorb the energy of an
impact with a partial damage or total destruction of the material. In case of a strong
impact, it is mandatory to perform a visual inspection to assess the damage. In case
of doubt, contact a NEO reseller. No modifications should be made to the protection
that could affect its characteristics. The protection should only be used for what it was
developed for. Under any circumstances, it should not be used for any activities other
than paragliding. The protection is guaranteed only if the back protection is inserted
in the harness. The protection does not guarantee full protection against injuries. Only
the parts covered by the protections are protected. Spine injuries are not avoided.
STORAGE
Protections could change considerably if exposed to temperatures higher than 70°C
(158°F). Inside of dark-colored vehicles or rucksacks, this temperature could be
exceeded during hot days.
The optimal position to store the protection is flat. If it is bent too much and for long
periods of time, the characteristics of the protection could be altered.
MAINTENANCE
The protection should not be washed. If the protection gets wet, remove it from the
harness and let it dry away from direct sunlight.
LIMITATIONS OF USE
In case of strong impact, the protection must be inspected by a qualified person.
The following must be checked:
- The pocket containing the protection should not have any defects in the
material or sewing.
- Koroyd parts should be intact, without deformations.
In case of doubt, contact your reseller.
VALIDITY / FOLLOW-UP
The lifespan of the harness and its integrated back protection NEO-Koroyd 2.3 is 5
years from the date of purchase. This lifespan changes in function of use and it might
be longer if the protection is well looked after.
Professional establishments should perform a follow-up of the use of the NEO-Koroyd
2.3 protection. This follow-up includes:
- Inspection before first use
- Periodical inspection
- Inspection log
