Rear Case Assembly Replacement

To replace the rear case assembly:

1.

Remove the batteries from the monitor. See 

Prior to Disassembly

 on page 48.

2.

Separate the front and rear case assemblies. See 

Separating the Front and 

Back Cases

 on page 48.

Caution: The battery connectors (spring assemblies) at the bottom 
of the SpO

2

 PCB are held in slots in the battery compartment. 

Observe how these connectors are engaged in these slots when you 
remove the SpO

2

 PCB and User Interface PCB and ensure that the 

battery connectors are inserted back in these slots when you 
reassemble the monitor.

3.

Lift the SpO

2

 PCB and User Interface from the case. See 18.
