3. Commissioning
Before switching on, roughly align the rotation laser with the
help of the built-in spirit level. Press the button 3 to switch on
the unit. The automatic levelling will start immediately.
The indicator 5 and the laser beam will flash during the automatic levelling process. When
the levelling has been successfully completed the indicator 5 and the laser beam will be
permanently on and the rotation head will begin to turn.
Note:
•
If the batteries are adequately charged, the indicator 4 will be permanently lit.
If this indicator flashes the batteries must be replaced. If it is not possible to
switch the PRIMUS-H Laser on the batteries / accumulators are completely
discharged.
•
If the automatic levelling fails (e.g. due to inadequate coarse alignment by
means of the in-built spirit level – see above) the indicator 6 will be
permanently lit. In this case, the laser must be switched off and the coarse
alignment repeated.
•
If the PRIMUS-H is not able to carry out automatic levelling within 2 minutes (e.g. due to
significant ground vibration) the indicator 6 will flash. In this case too, the laser must be
switched off and on again.
