10. Rectifying faults and maintenance
10.1 Trouble Shooting

After switching on, the laser does not rotate and the indicator 6 on the rota-
tion laser flashes.

The automatic control was unable to carry out the levelling operation be-
cause

the rotation laser may have been subjected to excessive vibration or
•
the l
imit of adjustment (
±
5°) has been reached.
&
Ensure that the laser is sitting on firm ground or a tripod. Switch the laser off
and on again to start the automatic levelling.

After switching on, the rotation laser switches off again straight away.

The batteries are nearly flat
&
Change the batteries / recharging the accumulators
