Try both ways and decide which you prefer. If you find the
double tap difficult to use, go to the next section for general
directions about adjusting the touchpad properties.
NOTE
If you install another mouse driver over the
shipping default, the double-tap capability is lost.
Making VersaGlide Adjustments
The NEC VersaGlide (also called the Synaptics Touchpad)
lets you customize how it functions with the cursor. You
can control the size and color of the cursor, cursor speed,
double-click speed, and selection button orientation.
You can also disable the touchpad tap and drag feature. Use
the online help button for details about configuring your
VersaGlide. See the appropriate section that follows for
your operating system.
Windows 95 VersaGlide Adjustments
To access and adjust your VersaGlide and cursor, follow
these steps.

Select Start, Settings, Control Panel.

From the Control Panel, tap (or click) on the Mouse
icon. A Mouse Properties screen appears.
