When registering a speed dial number, you can enter name of the person by using keys of the digital multi-line

telephone.

• Press the dial key corresponding to the character you want to enter, as many times as required.

• If you pass the character you want to enter, continue pressing the key until the desired character appears again.

• If you want to enter the same character repeatedly as in “IIDA” shown in the example, enter the first character, and

then press the

Redial

• You can enter up to 12 one-byte characters for the other party’s name.

• If you want to delete an entered character, press

Clear

. Then, the character on the cursor or the one just in

front of the character is deleted.

• For examples of characters displayed when Keypad are pressed, refer to “Character input table” on the next page.
