RANSPARENCIES
Keep the following considerations in mind before you print
on transparencies:
• Create the information you need printed on the
transparencies within your application. Try printing on a
plain sheet of paper first for proper placement.
• You can only print transparencies from the Tray 1 or Tray
2. Use no more than xx transparencies in Tray 2.
• Load up to xx transparencies in the Multipurpose Tray
(Paper Tray 1).
note:
Place transparencies on a flat surface after
removing them from the Main Output Tray.
• Use transparencies in letter or A4 size only.
• Transparencies must be able to withstand temperatures
of 392°F (200°C) for at least 0.1 second.
• Keep the paper path clean. Transparencies are especially
sensitive to dirt. If shadows appear on the sheets, clean
the inside of the printer, refer to Chapter x, “Maintaining
Your Printer.”
1. Open and extend Tray 1 (A) .
2. Load transparencies (B) . Properly adjust the Width
Guide.
3. Configure the paper source, type, and size within your
software application
(C) .
4. Print to the Main Output Tray (D) .
