NVELOPES
You can print envelopes from any tray. Shown below are
directions for printing envelopes from Tray 1 (Multipurpose
tray). Use only undamaged envelopes that are recommended
for laser printers.
1. Open Tray 1 and pull out the tray extender (A) .
2. Open and extend the Face-up Output tray in back of the
printer
(B) .
3. Scuffle the envelope stack (C) .
4. Load envelopes flap side down against the left tray edge
(D)
. The stamp area is on the left side of the envelope and
it enters Tray 1 first.
5. Adjust the Width Guide to the envelope stack
(E)
.
6. Configure the paper source, type and size in your
application, see page xx
(F)
.
7. After printing, close Tray 1.
note:
Do not load any more than
10 envelopes from Tray 1.
