Front Panel Assembly Removal
Remove the front panel assembly from the system unit as follows.
1.
Remove the system unit cover and 3 1/2-inch drive bracket as previously de-
scribed.
2.
Unplug the following cables from their connectors (see Figure Section 5-14).

Power lamp (connector J6)
n
Hard disk drive busy lamp (connector J30)
n
Reset button (connector J25)
3.
Remove the five front panel screws (see Figure Section 5-14).
4.
Feed the two lamp and reset cables through the hole in the front of system unit
chassis when removing the front panel assembly.
5.
Remove the front panel by releasing the four tabs from the back of the front
panel.

6.
Separate the lamps and reset button from the front panel assembly by pulling
them out from their socket in the panel assembly.
