3.4 Power Supply for the Array Controller
(1) Power
plug
The power plug is intended to supply power to the array controller. Connect the supplied the power
cord to the Disk Array power plug and the plug of the power cord to an outlet of 100 VAC power at 50
or 60 Hz.
The array controller has a redundant power configuration to prevent the entire unit from being shut
down by a single failure. To ensure this functionality, connect two power cords at the rear of the array
controller.
(2) Power
switch
The power switch is used to turn On/Off the power of the array controller.
The array controller has a redundant power configuration to prevent the entire disk array unit from
shutting down due to a single failure. Therefore, turn On/Off both of the two power switches when
operating the array controller.
