Tips on PCI installation
PCI is designed to automatically make settings for add-in cards whenever started.
PCI makes settings for network adapter’s I/O address and IRQ level at startup.
No adapter software can change these settings. If an error occurs at the server startup, a further
setting may be required.
For such a server, you can manually make settings by the server’s PCI BIOS Setup utility. See
the server’s User’s Guide. You may need to check or change a part of
BIOS settings.

To update PCI BIOS
By using the latest PCI system BIOS, sometimes, PCI setting problem can be fixed. Ask
the server’s manufacturer for the latest BIOS version.
