Chapter 2 Preparations

Removing Support Bar
You need to remove support bar when installing or removing the following component or changing internal
cable connection:
DIMM
Processor (CPU)
Additional HDD cage
PCI card
Battery for RAID Controller
1. Refer to steps 1 to 7 in
Chapter 2 (1.3 Overview of Installation and Removal)
for preparations.
2. Remove the two screws from support bar.
3. Lift the support bar, and remove it from the server.
