Cinema Projector: User Manual

5. Maintenance

Notes

Never use strong detergents

or solvents such as alcohol
or thinners to clean the
projector and lens.

Cleaning the projector and lens

Turn the projector off before cleaning:

•

Switch the projector into

Standby mode

, by pressing the

POWER

button on the

control panel or the

POWER OFF

button on the remote control for two seconds.

•

The

ON/STANDBY

indicator on the control panel will change to orange, and

flash on and off.

The display will show the Cooldown timer, which will count down from

300 seconds to zero. At the end of the cooling period, the projector will go into

Standby mode

•

Push the main power switch downwards to switch off the power.

•

Disconnect the power cable.

Clean the cabinet periodically with a damp cloth. If heavily soiled, use a mild
detergent.

Use a blower or lens paper to clean the lens, taking care not to scratch the glass.
