(2) Connecting 3.5-inch devices
You can mount SCSI devices, SAS devices, and USB devices (for internal connections) to 3.5-inch devices.
(a) If mounting an SCSI device
Use SCSI cable K410-181(00) with an SCSI controller to connect the SCSI device. Set an SCSI ID that is
not already set as the ID for another SCSI device. Because a connector for terminating SCSI connections
is installed in SCSI cable K410-181(00), specify the termination settings of the 3.5-inch device to
Disabled
.
(b) If mounting an internal USB device
Use the dedicated internal USB cable K410-255(00).
