Connect the two fan cables. See Figure 4-84.

Reinstall the top cover on the system chassis. See

earlier in this chapter.

Release the slide rail catches and push the server into the rack.
22.
Install the front bezel.
23.
Plug in the system power cord(s).
Replacing the Front Panel Board
Perform the following steps to replace the front panel board.
1.
Observe the safety and ESD precautions listed under General Information
and Static Precautions at the beginning of this chapter.
2.
Perform the steps in "Preparing Your System for Upgrade" described earlier
in this chapter.
3.
Extend the server out of the rack.
4.
Remove the top cover of the system chassis. See Top Cover Removal found
earlier in this chapter.
5.
Carefully disconnect the ribbon cable from the front panel board and also the
SCSI backplane.
6.
Disconnect the USB cable from the front panel board.
7.
Remove the screw that secures the front panel board to the chassis. See
Figure 4-85, A.
