Off-line Maintenance Utility
There are various methods to start the off-line maintenance utility.
You can start it in manual mode, and you can also start it automatically if a failure occurs.

4.3.2 Functions of the Off-line Maintenance Utility
Starting the off-line maintenance utility enables the following functions:

Displaying IPMI information
This function displays and backs up the system event log (SEL), sensor information (SDR), and
maintenance parts information (FRU) in IPMI.
The function enables you to check a failure and various events, which have occurred in the system
and identify the component to be replaced.

Displaying BIOS setup information
This function displays the current BIOS set values, and outputs them to the text file.

Displaying system information
This function displays information about the processor and BIOS, and outputs it to the text file.

Managing system information
This function backs up (saves) the information and settings that are specific to your server.
Without the backup copy, the server-specific information and settings cannot be restored when the
board is repaired or replaced.
System information includes information that can be backed up, information that cannot be backed
up, and information that does not need to be backed up.
