Other features
(1) Clear
Configuration
Clears the configuration data. From the TOP menu, choose
Configure
and then
Clear Configuration
. When
Clear Configuration
is executed, all the configuration data on the RAID controller and hard disk drives is
cleared.
If the old configuration data is remained in hard disk drive, configuration may fail. In this case, execute
Clear
Configuration
.
Note
To delete the configuration data of a virtual drive, choose
Objects
and then
Virtual
Drive
from the TOP menu. Move the cursor to the virtual drive to be deleted, and
then press <Delete> key. When the confirmation message "Want To Delete A
VD?" appears, choose
Yes
.
(2) Force
Online
Forcibly places a failed hard disk drive online.
From the TOP menu, choose
Objects
and then
Physical Drive
. Select the drive to be placed online, and then
choose
Force Online
.
(3) Rebuild
Rate
Specifies the rebuilding rate.
From the TOP menu, choose
Objects
,
Adapter
, and then
Rebuild Rate
.
The setting range is 0 to 100%. The default value is 30% (recommended).
(4) Viewing Hard Disk Drive Information
Displays information about a hard disk drive.
From the TOP menu, choose
Objects
and then
Physical Drive
. Select the drive whose information you want to
view, and then choose
Drive Properties
.
