The outputs can then be connected to solid state relays in order to drive a light stack as shown below. This
will provide a contact closure for each lamp.
The LS8500-4 operates the light stack in the following manner:

The light stack should be placed in a conspicuous location near the gauge so that anyone who may be ex-
posed to laser radiation can easily look at the light stack to see gauge is emitting laser radiation. The light
stack also has an indicator light labelled "LASER ON" that indicates when the laser is turned on.
