5.6.4

Length Log Display

The Length Log Screen also has three modes of operation, the Contiguous Length mode, the Reset Length
mode and the Final Length mode. These modes function exactly the same as the modes of operation on the
Length Mode display screen.

The length log display timestamps and logs the part length measurements into a file under the Logs folder of
the LaserTrak installation folder. The file name of the length log data is of the following format:

LengthLog_YYYY_MM_DD_AT_HH_MM_SS.csv

Where YYYY is the year, MM is the month number, DD is the day of the month, HH is the hour, MM is the
minute and SS is the second. The timestamp in the filename represents when the file is first created.

The most recently captured part length is inserted at the top of the Log Data window and is also displayed in
the bottom right corner near the Start/Stop Readings button.
