4.2.3 Connection Quality
The current signal quality indicator (
Figure 54
) dynamically displays the present
radio signal quality. The quality level is indicated by colors.

Green means the signal is good, Yellow indicates the signal is fair, Red denotes the
signal is poor, and Black means your computer is not connected to the network.
When the signal color reaches the yellow to red area, you are on the edge of the
ideal network range. Either move your CableFREE PCs closer, locate the antenna
of the CableFREE PC or the NetBlaster higher, or remove any metal obstacles
between the CableFREE PCs and the NetBlaster. If the bar is black, then your
network has a problem and you should refer to Chapter 8: Troubleshooting, to
find possible solutions.
4.2.4 Traffic Viewer
This tool enables users to monitor the throughput (transmitted and received data) of
the CableFREE network.
