Chapter 5: BIOS Updating Procedures

Updating Procedures

Connect the external CD-ROM (2336-K007) drive to the parallel
port on the terminal.

Connect the power connector to the CD-ROM drive.

Note:

The parallel port on the 7454 is the Customer Display port.

Therefore, if your terminal is configured with a Customer Display, you
must temporarily disconnect it in order to use the CD-ROM drive.

Apply power to the terminal so the CD-ROM drive can be opened.

Insert the BIOS update CD.
