Product Overview
Double Wide/High Keys
Several keys on the keyboard can accept optional key tips that cover two keys to
produce double high or double wide keys. When a double-wide/high key tip is pressed,
the keyboard firmware sends the key code for only one of the two keys.
In the following image, the bar on the keys indicates that a double-wide/high keycap
may be installed on the two adjacent keys. The asterisk (*) symbol indicates key
locations that do not generate a key code when pressed simultaneously with another
key.
See
on page 25 for information on how to configure double-high or
double-wide keys.
The keyboard supports the following methods of double-high/wide key operation:
•
Auto Detection of Double-High/Wide Key (factory default state)
•
User configurable Double-High/Wide Key by configuring of configuration data.
