Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Inlet - Face Plugged.
Appearance
The DPF is completely covered with black soot or gray ash.
Cause
Excessive soot generation.
Action
Determine and repair the root cause of excessive soot generation. Once the root cause
is repaired, properly service and reuse the DPF.
