Basic Operations

Starting the NAVIGON 7100

1. Press and hold the

On/Off/Standby

) switch for at least 6 seconds.

2. If password protection has been activated, the E

PASSWORD

WINDOW

opens.

3. Enter the password and tap Continue.

Each time the navigation device is turned on, the following message appears
when the software is started again:

4. After you have read and fully understand the text, tap OK.

Note:

If you do not accept these instructions, tap Cancel to quit the navigation
software.
